TL;DR:
This isn’t more of a trade idea but I found it super interesting to read. Philoinvestor was featured in an earlier Weekly Snack when he did his interview with Macro Ops via Value Hive podcast. The post above is about his thoughts on Nvidia NVDA 0.00%↑ and how its sky high valuation is to be looked at further. He makes the case that with so much VC funding flooding the AI market, it’s only natural that those funds find its way to chip manufactures to be able to handle all the processing that these companies are trying to accomplish. This was a super interesting read. Not long and very well written. Highly recommend.
TL;DR:
Again not really a trade but follows up on the iRobot IRBT 0.00%↑ Amazon AMZN 0.00%↑ M&A deal that has seen some volatility over the last few weeks. Herb Greenberg | On the Street briefly highlights the financial struggles that the company has and is going through with aggressive discounting and how the break up fee was structured in a way that’s not what you might think. It’s a short and sweet post but an interesting one nonetheless.
TL;DR:
Lastly, not a trade, but what I found interesting when it came to a snapshot of thinking for Zoetis ZTS 0.00%↑. From 0 to 1 in the Stock Market breaks down an interesting part of the Zoetis business of medicated feed additives. Much of the article highlights the archaic system of feeding animals that stems from inefficiencies on the farmers side but has benefited ZTS because of it. This article seems to be part 1 of a series looking into this area of the business with FeedVax being the next write. Another interesting article for any ZTS holders out there.
