Investment Pitches
TL;DR:
First and formost, this is an incredibly long read. Don’t start it unless you can spend a decent amount of time reading and digesting it. Aside from that
highlights what I talked about on Chit Chat Money regarding RH RH 0.00%↑. The company is spending a lot of time, money, and resources to turn the company around into the next iteration of what Gary envisions for the company. However, Bristlemoon acknowlegdes that this could pay off but the downside risk is too much for them to get comfortable with. They estimate that the company will continue to struggle over the next few quarters before the next strategy gains traction, not to mention the leverage that the company is currently facing.
TL;DR:
Next up comes from
writing their thoughts on Match MTCH 0.00%↑. While the author doesn’t go into much detail about their personal thoughts on valuation calculations, however, they do breakdown Match and the brands underneath when it comes to growth and opportunities. Wasn’t as much of a bland deep dive but written in the way of general conversation of a business breakdown.
TL;DR:
, one of my favorite sunstacks to read, recently wrote about Liquidity Services LQDT 0.00%↑, a company that operates a network of online auction marketplaces. The company trades at 11x LTM FCF and there’s enough cash on the balance sheet to cover ~20% of the market cap. The author goes over a brief history of its M&A strategy and how it’s lining itself up for better sustained future growth. Have a read (FYI it is a paid newsletter) and come to a conclusion yourself if the stock is worth holding.
